“New Year's Resolution: To tolerate fools more gladly, provided this does not encourage them to take up more of my time.” – James Agate
I loved this quote because it is a perfect representation of something I think about often. We all have those people in our lives that we don’t like, don’t want to talk to, don’t want to hang out with, yet you can’t be rude to them and say you don’t like them so you end up hanging out with them anyway. How do you put an end to this without being mean?! I have no idea… maybe someday I’ll figure it out.
Happy New Year everyone!

2010 - Ready, Get Set, GO!
“Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right.” – Oprah Winfrey
2010 is quickly approaching which means setting New Year's resolutions and eventually forgetting them. There are a few things I do want to accomplish in the New Year. I started an Etsy shop in July and things have been pretty steady since opening. Of course, I would love to expand that - list more items, create a brand, advertise more, actually earn money (!), etc. One goal was to start a blog, check! I’m already off to a good start!
As the New Year comes into the picture, I am going to do my best to stick with the goals I have set. Every year I say I will stick with them, but somehow the end of January rolls around and I’ve already forgotten what they were. This year, I’m going to get it right! I have set small, REALISTIC goals and I will do my best to keep them in the forefront of my mind. I almost picture my list not necessarily as a list of goals, but as a “to do” list that comprises of small steps that will eventually lead to achieving the one big goal. I’ll see how it works, you never know unless you try!
Good luck on getting your next chance to get it right!
Oh, and check out my shop! http://www.fashionablychic.etsy.com/
